EDUCATIONAL

Susanne Brandstaetter holds classes, masterclasses and workshops on creative documentary film-making. She's been teaching „Directing the Documentary“ at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, Department of Film and Television (Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Wien / „Filmakademie Wien“) since 2014. Both the Austrian Federal Chancellery and FC Gloria invited her to mentor other filmmakers within their mentoring programs.

In addition she lectures on topics dealt with in her documentaries – she has been invited to lecture at e.g. the University of Vienna, Faculty of Law (Universität Wien, Juristische Fakultät), Webster University Vienna, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation Brussels, the International Summer School Sarajevo (University of Sarajevo), Austrian Cultural Forum Bucharest (Öst. Kulturforum Bukarest) and Nanjing University, China.
